Lauren grew up in Tramore. She has been on the stage since the age of 7 and spent her childhood at the David Hennessey stage school and dancing with Natalie Van DeBram & Michelle Condon. Eventually, she went on to study Full Time Drama at The Gaiety School of Acting, graduating in 2014. A year later, she moved to London to attend West End Masterclass and sing with the West End Voices Choir.

She counts herself very lucky to have grown up in a city with so many amazing opportunities such as being involved in the premier of "Michael Collins - a musical drama", playing Fantine in The South Eastern Theatre Groups production of "Les Miserables", Katie in Stagemads 'Sanctuary', Sandy in "Grease" with Theatre Box Productions and The Fairy Godmother in "Cinderella" with Waterford Pantomime Society.
Stage (adulthood)
Lauren worked on projects such as "The Critic" with Rough Magic and "Dirty Laundry" by Chris Edmunds. She created new works with her theatre company 'Gumption', toured with The Butterfly Company and played the lead role in 'Architects and Anarchist's" at The Edinburgh Fringe 2014. She then returned to the Waterford stage to play The Mistress in “Evita” with Waterford Musical Society, Honey in “Virginia Wolfe” and Blanche in “A Streetcar Named Desire” both with Stagemad Productions.

While in London, Lauren played Katriona in "Drop the Hand" - a film by Simon O'Neill and The Accapella Killer in "Modern Horror Stories" by The Funny Side. Her recent commercial credits include RTE TV license 2015, Lenovo Thinkpad 2018 and Nordmende 2023.
