Miriam Cooke is an actor, broadcaster, and international fashion model. She is also a trained archaeologist, BSc, MSc, and a musician and singer (mezzo soprano) who has recorded and performed all over Europe.
Acting
Miriam has just finished filming on season 2 of the Amazon series Citadel playing opposite Richard Madden, directed by Joe Russo. She also plays Lisa Sullivan in the new Apple TV series 'Now and Then', with Rosie Perez, husband Jonnie Sullivan played by Zeljko Ivanek (Madame Secretary, Damages), directed, produced by Gideon Raff (Homeland, The Spy). She plays Prof Anna Kappel in WW2 psychological thriller 'Soldiers of the Damned'.
Presenting
As a broadcaster and presenter, Miriam is currently a roaming reporter for BBC One's Sunday Morning Live. She also presents for the BBC (Country tracks, The Story of Now), C4 (Wild about Britain), five, Discovery and National Geographic (Egypt Detectives). Her music documentary on sound and music in Prehistory ‘Symphony of the Stones' for the BBC World Service’ is available to listen now here Her new hands-on experimental archaeology TV series 'Lost Worlds with Miriam Cooke' is out on History Hit now.
